Bank nasienia To become an anonymous sperm donor you have to fulfill criteria listed below:

  • Be a healthy male between 18-35 year.
  • Your donation should be preluded by 5 days of sexual and alcohol abstinence.
  • You must have finished at least secondary shool (high shool or equivalent).
  • You will be asked to come for a qualification visit before donation

After qualification visit you will be asked to give a sample of sperm for further examination.

If yours sperm fulfill specific criteria especially concentration, morfological and motility ceiteria, yours blood sample will be chacked for infectious and sex-transmitted disases (HIV, HCV, OWA, HBS, CMV IgM) and blood type.

After a few days our nurse will contact the donator to inform about examination results. If all of the results are correct, arrangements will then be made for you to provide the proper semen donation.

Yours sperm will be frozen and kept in liquid nitrogen. Human sperm cells kept in -196ºC do not loose ability to fertilize an egg, and also can be used to IVF and ICSI procedures. The costs of laboratory examinations are covered by Maternity Clinic. You also are paid if your sperm fulfill qualification criteria.

After qualification for an anonymous sperm donor you will be asked to donate your seamen two more times after 2-3 days interval. It is necessary to have another blood examination after 6 months since the first visit.

Your personal data, as well as patients data using the donor sperm will never be reveled.
